About the Site
Do you like anime, video games, and things related to technology? We do too. This site is mostly those things, with a heavy slant towards anime. The podcast is also a reflection of this — a wide variety of topics are discussed at length. Or in brevity.

The Crew
maserbeam – the website itselfAn elitist who indulges in self-deprecating humor every chance he gets while still taking pot shots at his peers. The anime he enjoys ranges from the seemingly mundane and low tempo (Someday’s Dreamers, Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, and Aria) to the other end of extreme visual stimulus (Trapeze, FLCL, Dead Leaves). Anime with atmosphere and details tend to strike the strongest with him, but doesn’t afraid of fanservice and pandering. Actually hates the Japanese language because all he does is watch dubs.
The Xenomorph – alien and article contributor
A Southern Californian otaku and gamer that likes strong story and characterization. Advocates the strength of male characterization in modern anime culture, which he thinks is currently inundated with females. Not afraid to watch anything different and responds appropriately and critically. [We'll see about that.] Prefers his games to be 20 plus hours of story and content, if it’s not already a masterpiece of writing or fun as hell. Does not actually bite heads off. (Mami being an exception.)

Images are often taken from various image archives and other sources, most of them with proper source cited. I, in no way, claim ownership to any images unless stated. As a safe guard, all of my personally created images are of low quality and probably stupid. You shouldn’t be using them anyway.
If a direct link to an external (or local) page has questionable content, there are warnings. This warning applies to the content linked, including any other links at the target site. It is not my fault for any personal harm or negative results that are incurred from viewing such content.
If I do not respond to an email, it does not mean I haven’t read it. The 4 top reasons I won’t reply:
1) No need for me to respond.
2) It’s a troll. (intentional or not)
3) Poorly written.
4) I’m dead.
